Not only the best sushi, but the freshest, greenest, most flavorful salads. And the chicken teriyaki sauce is homemade and wonderful. Everything is made fresh. They even have their own low salt soy sauce with flavorings. The service is Personal and prompt. My new favorite restaurant lakeside.

Our first attempt at sushi in Ajijic and it was very good! My husband had nigiri and I had the Omega 3 roll and a salmon skin temaki roll. My favorite part was their welcome host, Uni. He didn’t say a lot but he kept us more than entertained throwing the ball for him while we waited on our sushi!

Great sushi in a cozy, comfortable, contemporary space. There were 5 of us. We enjoyed a variety of Sushi - Hamachi, Vegetable Tempura, Miso Soup, Dynamite Rolls, Tampiko with Surimi Roll, California Roll with Pulpo, Teriyaki Bowl and more - all, delicious, fresh and beautifully presented.

Just left there! Been in Ajijic for 2 months today and by FAR… the best meal I have had here and I have had some good ones! OMG, it was so good and staff is great.

Best sushi restaurant lakeside, and maybe the best restaurant overall! Chef Allan prepares his cuisine with professionalism, pride, and artistry. Although he has a myriad of Japonese dishes, udon, teriaki, teppanyaki, gyoza, and so much more... I go for the sushi. Freshest, tastiest, beautifulest. Well maybe the most beautiful presentation imaginable. Try it. Even Mikey likes it! The photo below is a takeout order I plated at home. If it was served at Masayume, it would be much more presentable.

Fun staff and owner, interesting to talk to. The food is prepared well with appearance and taste in mind. The sushi is tasty and fresh, and the octopus nigiri was fun but not that great, and the vegetable tempura had too many bell peppers and not enough veggies with substance. Everything else was fabulous, sushi, soup, and salmon.

So pleasantly surprised by this cute little sushi bar. Wonderful nigiri and rolls. The veggie tempura was good as well.
